The core team:

Patrick Rau
Managing and Creative Director
Patrick is the managing and creative head of kunst-stoff and the owner of the company. His work is characterized by visionary thinking, accuracy, high aesthetic demand and social entrepreneurial values. Patrick holds a master as a communication designer and spent parts of his studies in San Francisco.

Katharina Lakner
Office Management and Controlling/Finances
Katharina is responsible for finances and financial controlling, as well as for office organisation. With diligent and accurate hands, she not only oversees numbers, invoicing and accounting. She never forgets the team members’ birthdays, and realizes even the slightest dimunition of black ink pencils in the office.

Maike Coelle
Producer / Game Design
Maike is responsible for production issues (subsidies, presentations,…) as well as Business Communications, and is also working on game design. Consciousness of the market, interest for the future in media, passion for good stories and delight in the process of convergence are her most important companions.

Steffen Römer
Development Director
Steffen plans and coordinates the programming and technical implementation of each project. Steffen is also the main developer of the Orkitec game engine, which is used in many of kunst-stoff projects.

Grit Schuster
Art Director
Grit is Art Director and as such responsible for the organisation of the Art Team and the Game Art. Grit’s background combines programming and interface design, so that she can be recognized as the perfect interface to the coding team. As a passionate gameplayer, she also contributes to game design.

Maurice Croissier
Illustrator
Maurice’s background is in the field of animated cartoons, and he’s responsible for characters such as The Little Polar Bear (a very popular German childrens’ movie). Without Maurice, our games would only look half as good: Maurice designs and draws characters and backgrounds with a passionate, artistic impetus.
